Job DescriptionJob Title: Quality Control Technician Job Description The primary purpose of the Quality Control Technician is to perform quality assurance testing to ensure the highest quality products are delivered to our customers. Responsibilities • Conduct quality control tests and inspections of hardware., • Apply pre-defined network device configurations., • Execute automated and manual test scripts., • Perform mechanical inspections for defects., • Verify manifests and packing lists against product contents., • Update manual test scripts as needed., • Report defects to the supervisor., • Present quality status to production and quality teams., • Maintain primary responsibility for quality levels in products., • Ensure physical attendance for performance., • Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills, • 2+ years of quality control or testing experience., • Experience with simple mechanical inspection., • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows platforms., • Experience with PC hardware., • Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds of test equipment at least 40 feet., • Ability to multi-task and manage various project-related duties., • Strong work ethic., • Touch typing skills with a minimum speed of 25 to 30 WPM., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Attention to detail and accuracy., • Ability to self-organize workloads and manage all deadlines.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience with networking devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls is desired., • Independent professional capable of performing job assignments with limited supervision.Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PORTLAND, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
