They are currently seeking an experienced Payroll & Accounting Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This is a full-time, on-site role with long-term potential for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities • Process full-cycle, in-house payroll for all employees, • Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions, • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, • Reconcile payroll and accounting data within a fully integrated ERP system, • Assist with benefits tracking, compliance, and audit preparation, • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to policies and regulations, • Collaborate closely with finance and leadership teams on process improvements Ideal Candidate Background • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration strongly preferred, • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in accounting and payroll, • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with ERP systems, • Governmental or public sector accounting experience is a plus, • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage sensitive information with discretion, • Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines in a structured environment
