Job Description Are you a skilled Dispatcher looking for a new opportunity in Bloomington, CA? Join our dynamic trucking company as we expand our team. We are looking for a problem-solving and highly organized dispatcher to join our team. You're a multitasker, acting as the first point of contact for customer requests, while also arranging the scheduling, reporting, and communication for service calls. You’ll communicate with field teams and customers using messaging apps, email, and telephones. The ideal candidate has basic computer skills and is comfortable preparing daily work orders and schedules for the field team. Location: Bloomington, CA Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM The Dispatcher's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Identify, review, and approve routes for drivers, • Provide proper communication and direction to drivers as to their daily job and workload, including the start time, • Monitor metrics (KPIs) to maximize productivity, • Review and adjust the routing of pick-ups/deliveries for minimum miles and expenses, • Assign or preplan order pickup or delivery in the system, • Ensure that Drivers are properly trained on ELD devices and technology to maximize utilization and efficiency, • Resolution of any PU/delivery problems while the driver is with the customer, • Monitor pick-up appointments and coordinate with drivers, • Ensure on-time delivery appointments as scheduled, • Create manual orders in the system, as needed, • Maintain proper equipment control, including tractor assignment, trailer assignment, and equipment updating to our computer program, • Ensure the success of the operation Ready to join our growing company?
