Job Description Sitemetric seeks a bar-raising, experienced Director of Compliance to lead the company’s global regulatory and compliance efforts within the security department. This role will report to the VP of Physical Security and will be responsible for assuring global compliance with security regulations. About the Role As Director of Compliance, you will ensure Sitemetric meets and exceeds all regulatory and licensing requirements related to private security operations across the United States, with potential expansion globally. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and auditing compliance programs to safeguard the company’s ability to operate lawfully and ethically in diverse jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities • Oversee all aspects of Sitemetric’s compliance with state and federal private security regulations, with minimal travel as necessary., • Manage security licensing requirements across multiple states, including renewals, audits, and filings., • Monitor regulatory changes and proactively update policies, procedures, and practices to ensure ongoing compliance., • Develop, maintain, and deliver compliance training for staff and leadership., • Collaborate with legal, operations, and security teams to resolve compliance-related issues., • Conduct regular internal audits and assessments to identify risks and areas of improvement., • Serve as the primary point of contact with regulatory agencies and licensing bodies., • Prepare compliance reports for senior leadership and external regulators as needed., • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, • 7+ years of experience in security regulatory compliance, with demonstrated expertise in U.S. private security licensing and regulations, • Proven track record of managing multi-state compliance programs, • Strong knowledge of security industry standards, policies, and best practices, • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, • Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across teams, • Experience with security compliance in complex physical security environments, specifically large construction sites or related industries, • Professional certifications in compliance, security, or risk management (e.g., CPP, PCI, CCEP) As part of the Sitemetric team, you'll receive: • Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications, • Health, dental and vision insurance for full time employees, • 401(k) eligibility, • Eligible for discretionary bonus, based upon individual, team, and company-wide performance., • Accrued paid sick leave for all employee, • Flexible paid time off, • Employee referral bonus plan includes $50 for each referred candidate that completes a minimum of three (3) consecutive calendar months of service with Sitemetric. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and jobsite upon which work is being performed, and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, and experience.
