Assigned tasks including assisting in support and monitoring of equipment performance and maintenance, propose & develop equipment and facility improvements and troubleshoot process equipment to ensure reliable, compliant and efficient operations. Actively ensures compliance to current Good Manufacturing Practices, Safety, and Environmental regulations while achieving operating cost goals. Key Responsibilities: • Assist with general plumbing repairs;, • Assist with roofing repairs;, • Assist with welding tasks;, • Assist with electrician tasks;, • Assist with air conditioning repairs and change filters;, • Assist with minor forklift repairs;, • Assist with sheet metal work, • Assist with carpentry tasks, • Assist with minor machinery repairs;, • Perform special projects as required, • May require operation of forklift or the driving of company vehicles;, • Keep quality up to acceptable standards with little discrepant work;, • Due to need to maintain ITAR compliance, applicants must be U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident, • Ability to safely and proficiently assist with the utilization of a large variety of tooling, including specific tools designed for specific pieces of equipment;, • Moderate to proficient experience in general maintenance and repairs;, • Moderate to proficient understanding of mechanics;, • Ability to react to changes productively and perform other essential tasks as assigned;, • Working consistently, working overtime, and traveling as required;, • Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the Company;, • Conduct himself/herself in a business-like and civil manner;, • Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English, • Ability to work well with only a modest amount of repeated instructions; The physical demand described here are the representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essentials functions of this job.
