Job Description SUMMARY: Field Service Engineer will be capable of performing dedicated aspects related to, but not limited to, the operation, maintenance, data collection, basic troubleshooting, and associated record keeping of all Red Light Camera (RLC) systems in the Syracuse, NY metro area. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO): The Field Engineer will also be responsible for ensuring all work is carried out in a safe efficient and productive manner in compliance with the Company Health and Safety regulations and to the satisfaction of our clients and JENOPTIK Robot GmbH senior management with emphasis on compliance with all legal and operational contractual obligations, including but not limited to, data collection and associated maintenance requirements. The candidate must be hard-working and self-motivated with high personal ethics. Responsible for ensuring the timely collection, accurate documentation, and timely secure bi-weekly delivery of data to the Joint Processing Centre including: SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: • Provide support for other programs when required, • Perform all duties delegated by the Program Manager, • 1-3 years' experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic components, power, and connectivity wiring, computer hardware, etc., • Experience in the field of Photography in general and Digital Photography in particular would be an asset, • General knowledge of Windows operating systems and Office applications, in particular, Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail, • Maintain a good driving record and must be willing to drive/operate large vehicles (including bucket trucks and small crane trucks), • Ambitious and hard-working with a valid driver’s license, • Salary range: $28.00 to 38.00 per hour The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
