Position Overview: We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Content Creator & Editor to produce high-quality video content that engages, informs, and inspires our B2B audience. This role is responsible for conceptualizing ideas, filming (when applicable), editing raw footage, adding effects/graphics, and delivering polished videos for multiple platforms—including social media, websites, and events. Responsibilities • Plan, storyboard, and develop engaging video concepts aligned with brand goals., • Edit video footage into compelling final products using professional editing software., • Add motion graphics, captions, sound effects, and music to enhance storytelling., • Repurpose long-form videos into short-form content for social platforms., • Collaborate with the team to maintain consistent brand voice and style., • Stay up to date on video trends, platform algorithms, and best practices for engagement., • Bachelors in Digital Media or Marketing (preferred), • 2+ years of content creating and editing experience (required), • Portfolio (highly preferred), • Proven experience in video editing and content creation., • Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or equivalent)., • Strong eye for storytelling, pacing, and visual composition., • Understanding of social media video formats (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.). Job description We are seeking a Motion Graphics Designer/Video Editor to join our team in Irvine, CA. This role focuses on producing high-quality video content for corporate 1031 Crowdfunding business accounts, The Ed Fernandez Show podcast, and other brands within our umbrella of companies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure social media content is aligned with marketing objectives and company values. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with technical proficiency, capable of working in a fast-paced environment to produce engaging content optimized for performance across various platforms. Responsibilities • Edit high-quality video content for weekly podcast and other brand initiatives., • Edit and enhance video clips for various social media platforms, ensuring high-quality visuals, audio, and overall production value., • Film and produce high-quality video content for various platforms, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project objectives., • Create and integrate animations, motion graphics, and visual effects to elevate video content and storytelling., • Create and curate social media content (including graphics, videos, and written copy) across multiple platforms, • Create engaging and compelling short-form video content from longer videos, interviews, events, or other sources, tailored to each social media platform's best practices., • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including marketing, design, and investor relations) to ensure social media content is aligned with company values and objectives., • Work with the Director of Marketing to create social advertisements. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field or equivalent work experience, • Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve experience preferred (or comparable software), • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere preferred, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously This is an in-office position within a professional workplace, and remote work is not an option. A portfolio is required for consideration; applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed. Pay Scale and Compensation Benefits: The Motion Graphics Designer position will be full-time, with a competitive salary range of $70k - $75k annually based on experience and qualifications.
