Job Description Government Meeting Video Director Position Summary NTT helps government televise democracy—allowing clients to focus on what they do best: govern. The Government Meeting Video Director plays a critical role in delivering high-quality broadcasting, AV event support services, and related and integrated transparency services and initiatives to our government clients The Government Meeting Video Director helps clients get the most out of NTT’s services and knowledge. You’re entrepreneurial and an excellent problem solver, and you’ll help make our services better, while building a loyal and actively engaged community. You'll help us grow and support the number of government entities to reach their transparency initiative goals. You'll report to the Director of Operations. Essential Job Functions The following functions are considered essential to this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions. • Serve as a point of contact to prepare for any pertinent broadcast production services/needs., • Lead by example and uphold NTT’s operational standards and best practices, • Conduct systems testing to maintain daily operational integrity, • Participate in testing and readiness for designated control rooms and production environments, • Operate audio and video equipment for live and recorded events., • Integrate broadcast services with webcast platforms, including captioning, language translation, and transcription (on-site and remote), • Collaborate with Broadcast Engineers to help achieve optimal system performance and technical integrity., • Document system tests, issues, and resolutions in accordance with Company policy via NTT’s CRM platform. Communication must be clear, timely, and accurate., • Assess, document, and assist with the resolution of system issues as needed and or requested by the Broadcast Engineer, • Assist to identify opportunities for process improvement, • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across multiple clients and technologies, • Manage and execute special projects as assigned, • Represent NTT professionally in client interactions, meetings, and on-camera appearances, • Maintain consistent broadcast quality and operational excellence, • Ensure clients receive services in accordance with applicable scopes of work, • Collaborate with internal teams on all operational initiatives, • Support cross-training and knowledge sharing among production staff, • Promote continuous improvement in production workflows and client experience Core Competencies • Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to improving services and workflows, • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with clients, team members, and stakeholders, • Ability to communicate professionally, clearly, and respectfully in both verbal and written formats, • Working knowledge of audio and video production environments, including AV control rooms and supporting technologies, • Familiarity with broadcast production practices, including camera framing, lower-third graphics, transitions, lighting, and audio quality, • Working knowledge of broadcast production switchers and PTZ cameras., • Working knowledge of audio levels, mixing, basic audio engineering, and troubleshooting, • Computer and server literacy sufficient to support modern, software-driven AV systems Software & Platform Familiarity Experience with, or ability to quickly learn, tools and platforms such as: • AV and broadcast systems (e.g., Crestron, QSC, Chiron, EEG, Ai-Media, Logitech Rally Bar), • Streaming and webcast platforms (e.g., StreamShark, Wowza, LiveU, The Switch), • Government and meeting platforms (e.g., StreeamShark, Granicus, PrimeGov, StreamText, SyncWords), • Collaboration and communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Cisco WebEx, Microsoft Teams, Slack), • Managing remote participant workflows, including audio routing, video feeds, muting/unmuting, and coordination with meeting clerks or moderators., • Content and media platforms (e.g., YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X), • Design and productivity tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Windows 11+) Experience & Education • Practical education, training, and/or professional experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the role Work Schedule & Conditions • This is a part-time position with a guarantee of 5 hours per day Monday through Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; • Hours may vary based on production needs, • As operational needs evolve, this role may have the opportunity to transition to full-time employment., • Evening, weekend, or extended hours may be required during live events, • This position is primarily on-premises, with flexibility for off-site work depending on client needs, • Routine travel to client locations is required at a frequency determined by operational needs · Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods during live productions, equipment setup, and on-site events. · Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. · Ability to operate computers, broadcast consoles, cameras, audio equipment, and related production tools, including repetitive hand and finger movements. · Ability to see, hear, and communicate effectively to monitor broadcasts, audio levels, visual feeds, and to coordinate with team members, clients, and vendors, with or without reasonable accommodation. · Ability to work in production environments may include variable lighting, elevated noise levels, tight spaces, and time-sensitive conditions. · Ability to travel to and navigate client sites, including moving between control rooms, studios, and event spaces. · Ability to remain focused and responsive during extended live events, which may require long periods of concentration and alertness. Additional Requirements • Must comply with NTT’s uniform and personal appearance standards, • Must adhere to NTT’s Rapid Client Response expectations, • Hourly Rate Range: $37.00 – $44.00, depending on education and experience, • Expense Reimbursement: In accordance with NTT’s Accountable Reimbursement Plan
