We have a direct hire opening for a Maintenance Supervisor in Kent, WA and Des Moines, WA with a food production company. This position requires a flexible schedule to support the facility’s 24/7 operations. • In this role, you’ll supervise maintenance operations across all 3 shifts to keep production equipment running safely and reliably. Direct Hire Opportunity – Be on our client's payroll from Day 1! Pay and Shift Information: • Salary: $90k-$105k/annually, • Schedule: Must have open availability to cover various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays On-call Responsibilities: • Guide mechanics through troubleshooting and repairs over the phone or attend in-person if it is a critical emergency., • On-call duties will be phased in over the first 90 days Job Duties of the Maintenance Supervisor: • Supervise maintenance operations across 3 shifts to keep equipment running safely and reliably., • Help manage a team of up to 12 Maintenance Technicians., • They use food production equipment, such as washing tanks, slicers, dicers, industrial ovens, packaging equipment for sealing food items, etc., • Support the maintenance and repair of utility systems, including natural gas, power distribution, wastewater, and steam., • Repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems., • Install, adjust, disassemble, repair, and reassemble motors, gearboxes, pumps, pneumatic/hydraulic cylinders, and valves., • Perform electrical work, including installing new circuits, running conduit, sizing, and pulling wire., • Evaluate and improve maintenance procedures to reduce downtime., • Oversee the work completed by contractors to ensure tasks are performed to facility standards., • Create work schedules to assign tasks, manage staffing levels, and control overtime., • Utilize performance management to ensure technicians meet skill development, attendance, and productivity goals., • Deliver hands-on training to maintenance employees directly at the machines., • Hold team members accountable for their work by ensuring they complete tasks efficiently, correctly, and in compliance with standards., • Use company maintenance software to track maintenance activities, schedule and prioritize work orders and PMs, and ensure PMs are completed on time Benefits of the Maintenance Supervisor: • Medical, dental, and vision, • 3 weeks of PTO, • 401(k) Job Requirements of the Maintenance Supervisor: • 5+ years of experience in a food manufacturing setting, • 2-3 years of supervisory experience leading a team in an industrial environment, • Have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, • Strong knowledge of OSHA, USDA, FDA, HACCP, and food safety regulations, • Skills in Excel, Outlook, and Word for scheduling, reporting, and communication, • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints
