As we continue to grow, we are looking for a finance leader who can help strengthen our financial foundation while supporting strategic growth and operational excellence. What youll do: As CAFs Director of Finance and Accounting, you will serve as the companys senior finance leader and strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team. This role oversees the companys accounting operations, financial systems, and financial planning processes while helping guide key business decisions and long-term growth initiatives. You will lead a small but capable finance and accounting team and ensure that CAF maintains strong financial discipline while continuing to scale. Key responsibilities include: Financial Leadership & Strategy • Partner with the CEO and leadership team to guide financial strategy, long-term planning, and key business decisions., • Lead company forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis to improve visibility into margins, growth, and operational efficiency., • Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close processes., • Ensure accurate financial statements, strong internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, including oversight of CAFs international entity (CAF BV Netherlands)., • Partner with the CEO in managing banking relationships and treasury strategy., • Maintain visibility into company cash position and forecasting while developing strategies to responsibly deploy excess cash., • Own CAFs financial systems and related technology platforms, managing external partners supporting systems such as Dynamics GP, Avalara, SmartConnect, and Power BI., • Lead financial process improvements that increase efficiency, reporting accuracy, and data accessibility., • Lead, coach, and develop CAFs finance and accounting team, including Staff Accountant, Senior Accounting Specialist (AR/AP), Order Entry & Invoicing Specialist, and Data Analyst., • Foster a culture of accountability, communication, and continuous improvement within the department., • Support acquisition opportunities through financial modeling, diligence preparation, and integration planning., • Partner with external advisors including CPAs, legal counsel, and investment banking partners when pursuing transactions., • Lead special projects that improve operational efficiency, financial visibility, and business performance. What You Will Need to Succeed: • 7+ years of finance, accounting management experience, • Excellent leadership skills and interpersonal abilities, • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (or comparable work experience), • Proven success in a fast-paced and dynamic company, • Strong strategic thinking and planning / organizational skills, • Experience in partnering with an executive team, and have a high level of written and oral communication skills, • High attention to detail and strong organizational habits, • Professional and consistent work habits, strong work ethic, driven to achieve personal andcompany goals, • Reside within 18 miles from CAF Office (Maple Valley, 98038), • Satisfy pre-employment drug testing and background check Our Culture: At CAF, our culture is grounded in ownership, communication, and execution.
