Customer Accounts Advisor The salary range for this role is $18.50 to $19.50 per hour*. This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on performance. Aaron’s Customer Account Advisors serve as coaches to our customer, driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals by understanding lease agreement benefits and ensuring customers are 100% satisfied with the product. As a Customer Account Advisor, you will build relationships with our customers over the phone and face-to-face to help bring them one-step closer to ownership. The Work • Attainment and upkeep of customers’ accounts including maintaining updated customer information in the store computer system and documenting all customer payment appointments., • Direct contact with customers who have not renewed their Lease agreement(s) both in home visits and over the phone, • Sell customers on the benefits of timely lease agreement renewal payments, • Assist the Customer Account Manager in setting and achieving daily, weekly and monthly revenue and renewal goals, • Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management, • Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for all items personally returned, • Complete and maintain weekly vehicle maintenance sheet and route sheets daily, • Load, secure and protect product in company vehicle, • Safely operate company vehicle, • Assist the Sales Team as needed, • United States at least 21 years old with a valid state Driver’s License and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy; including satisfactory MVR (driving record). This includes scanning merchandise, by utilizing a held-held scan gun or 10 keypad, weighing product on countertop scales as necessary, and looking up any product that will not scan. Ensure that each item’s barcode is accurately reflected in the system and report any discrepancies to Front End Lead or Manager of Day (MOD)., • Perform cart-to-cart transfer of all products at checkout, including a visual inspection to look for product tampering., • Perform duties as receipt checker; verifying cart content vs. purchases, as customers leave the store., • Ensure a continuing focus on increasing sales and managing shrinkage. Work with customers to ensure they find the products they need and are made aware of all the other services available to them in the store., • Assist in receiving inventory shipments and maintaining and stocking shelves in a neat and orderly fashion while also ensuring proper rotation and product quality audits. Report any low stock levels to store management., • Ensure all merchandise is properly labeled. This includes blaster tagging unscannable merchandise, applying catch weight labels to all merchandise sold by the pound, and affixing plu tags to produce items., • Replenish sales floor daily by down stocking freight from top stock. Key Job Responsibilities: • Reliable attendance and punctuality., • Follow all safety guidelines, complete safety training, and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)., • Greets and assists customers by telephone or in store to provide information about products or services, take or enter orders, cancel accounts, or obtain details of complaints in a professional manner., • Maintains invoicing sales, accepting payment, and processing credit cards while securing accurate transactions., • Processes exchanges, returns, warranties, and core transactions in accordance with company policy., • Installs vehicle batteries in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications, and performs other in-store services for customers., • Delivers local commercial account orders (batteries, accessories, etc.) as needed, following all state traffic laws., • Ensures all inventory counts, stock adjustments, and store-to-store transfers are processed in a timely manner., • Performs daily operational tasks, keeping retail space and battery charging stations clean and organized., • Enters inventory data into computer using various data entry devices and keeps data organized so that it is easily accessible at any time., • Recommends improvements in product placement, packaging, shipping, service, or billing methods and procedures to prevent future problems., • Maintain a clean store and professional appearance., • Performs work on weekends and evenings, including store opening/closing duties as needed to meet applicable deadlines., • Follow security procedures when entering and exiting the building for the safety of themselves and others. · A score card that reflects performance in areas such as daily sales, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution. · Management observation regarding attitude, diligence, team contributions, and willingness and ability to learn new skills and information.
