Job Description Warehouse Clerk Job Description This position reports to: Warehouse Manager Alternate: Plant Operations Manager POSITION SCOPE Eagle Beverage & Accessory Products LLC is an SQF certified producer of beverage bases, concentrates, and plastic extrusion products dedicated to the highest levels of customer service, food safety, and security standards. The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for all aspects of shipping/receiving documentation and communication to support the effective flow of inbound material from suppliers, and outbound finished goods. This role also includes inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking of materials at every stage, managing cycle count programs, and maintaining accurate ERP records. The position is essential to support production planning, shipment planning for on-time delivery, maintaining inventory accuracy and controlling inventory costs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Primary Clerical Duties: • Ensure accurate inventory records within the warehouse, production areas, and shipping locations, • Manage cycle count program and investigate variances to maintain 99%+ inventory accuracy, • Actively manage the disposition of expired, slow-moving, and obsolete inventories, • Resolve inventory discrepancies between purchase orders and receipts, • Continuously review inventory levels and report any excessive inventory figures, • Support month-end close with inventory reconciliation and adjustments, • Prepare items for shipping, noting item contents, delivery methods, and other logistical details, • Process customer orders according to schedule (pick, pack, label, ship); Process BOL's and shipment transactions in ERP shipping system, • Generate inventory reports and dashboards for management review in NetSuite, • Process inventory transactions accurately in NetSuite, • Maintain accurate bin locations and item master data in the system, • Support annual physical inventory counts and audits in Netsuite Smart Count, • Analyze inventory variances, research and perform root cause analysis, formulate and provide recommendations to drive continuous improvement, • Ensure FIFO is being used according to documented processes, • Support food safety and traceability requirements through accurate lot tracking Physical Demand Level: Medium Frequency of Physical Activities: • Frequent: Sitting at desk/workstation, typing/keyboard use, using computer mouse, fine hand manipulation for data entry, • Occasional: Standing, walking throughout warehouse and shipping areas, bending at waist to inspect inventory at various levels, reaching for files and materials, • Carrying items up to 50 feet within warehouse and office areas, • Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours) while performing computer-based tasks, • Vision adequate to read computer screens, inventory labels, and documents for extended periods, • Hearing adequate to communicate effectively with warehouse staff, suppliers, and accounting personnel, • Ability to alternate between office/desk work and warehouse floor inspections, • Ability to work in varying temperatures when conducting cycle counts in warehouse and cold storage areas This position requires the following skills: • 2-5 years of inventory management or analyst experience, • Experience in food and beverage or manufacturing industry preferred, • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, • Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work independently, • Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, • Effective communication and collaboration skills, • Critical thinking and root cause analysis capabilities, • Data interpretation and reporting skills, • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) The following tools and systems are required for this position: • NetSuite ERP with WMS Mobile Integration, • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), • Google Workspace (Sheets, Forms, Drive), • Barcode scanners and label printing systems, • OpenDock (Dock scheduling application), • UpKeep (Maintenance tracking application), • Lucidchart (Process documentation), • Zoom Software Core (Required): • Manlift and Electric Pallet Jack Certification (OSHA required) - within 30 days of hire, • GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Training, • HACCP Awareness Training, • NetSuite ERP Proficiency (Inventory Management Module), • Cycle Counting and Inventory Reconciliation Training, • Microsoft Excel - Intermediate to Advanced, • Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt, • SQL Basics (for report generation and data analysis), • APICS CLTD (Certified in Logistics, Transportation & Distribution), • Lean/5S Awareness Training, • Must complete and maintain current status on all required company training, including but not limited to: food safety (GMP, HACCP awareness), workplace safety, and annual cybersecurity awareness training., • Must adhere to all company policies including information security, data privacy, and acceptable use of technology., • Must immediately report any suspected security incidents, phishing attempts, or policy violations to the appropriate supervisor or IT personnel. This position has access to operational systems, vendor communications, and/or compliance platforms. Incumbent must complete cybersecurity training upon hire and annually thereafter, with emphasis on recognizing phishing attempts in emails, attachments, and vendor communications. Must follow all protocols regarding removable media, external devices, and vendor email verification. Responsible for reporting any suspicious activity or system anomalies immediately.
