Job Description Head of E-Commerce / Director of E-Commerce Compensation: $75,000- $100,000 (+/- depending on experience) The Role Head of E-Commerce / Director of E-Commerce to scale our marketplace business across Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Newegg, and Back Market. This is a leadership role with real ownership—focused on scalability, efficiency, and growth (not just maintaining the current state). You’ll lead and develop a team of ~10 while driving operational transformation, systems rollout, and marketplace performance. Two Main Priorities 1. Inventory management software selection + rollout ( You will be selecting and implementing one) • Lead selection, implementation, and company-wide rollout of an inventory management system, • Build the operating process around it (receiving → grading → stocking → listing → shipping), • Train the team and drive adoption (SOPs, accountability, reporting) 2. Leverage automation + AI to improve efficiency & performance • Implement automation/AI tools to improve:, • listing speed/quality, • pricing & repricing logic, • order workflow and exception handling, • inventory sync across channels, • performance reporting and decision-making Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage an e-commerce team (~10): hiring, training, workflows, KPIs, accountability, • Drive platform expansion & optimization across Amazon/eBay/Walmart/Newegg/Back Market, • Implement multi-channel listing + synchronization tools and best practices, • Improve shipping methods (speed, cost, accuracy, carrier strategy, packaging standards), • Own inventory forecasting, turn-rate targets, and availability accuracy, • Ensure marketplace compliance (policies, restrictions, performance metrics, returns), • Build scalable SOPs and reporting dashboards to support growth Ideal Candidate Profile You’re a fit if you have: • Managed $2M–$10M+ annual e-commerce revenue (marketplaces preferred), • Led teams of 5–15 (operations + listing + customer/order workflows), • Implemented or overseen:, • Inventory management systems, • Multi-channel listing tools (ChannelAdvisor, Sellbrite, Linnworks, etc.), • Strong understanding of:, • marketplace rules/compliance, • inventory forecasting, • Electronics / refurbished / resale marketplace experience, • Experience cleaning up messy catalogs/inventory data and standardizing processes What Success Looks Like: • Inventory system goes live with strong adoption, clean data, and measurable accuracy gains, • Faster listing throughput, fewer order errors, better sync across marketplaces, • Improved shipping cost per order + faster handling times, • Sales growth driven by expansion + stronger operational execution (not just “more listings”)Company DescriptionMAGNUM STAFFING is a recruiting and staffing solutions firm based in Houston, Texas, and founded in 1996.
