Facility Description: Anaergia is managing the operations and maintenance for Victor Valley Wastewater Reclamation Authority (VVWRA) anaerobically digestible material (ADM) receiving area. The VVWRA ADM receiving area receives high strength organic waste in 5,000-gallon tankers and are offloaded to buffer tanks using onsite pumping system. The waste at the receiving area that is co-digested with the municipal sludge producing biogas. The Biogas is treated and upgraded to renewable natural gas (RNG) and injected into the utility pipeline. The biogas treatment and upgrading facility is owned and operated by Anaergia and the facility is located on the VVWRA property. Job Description: Reporting to the Facility Manager, operate and maintain the VVWRA ADM receiving area equipment as needed to ensure the plant maximizing uptime and receives all material from haulers without delays. Goals: * Safety- Develop and maintain a world class culture of safety to be adhered to by all employees and contractors at the site. * Championing company's policy frame work - Support the development of the Company's Vision Statement and the Company's strategy defining the Standards and code to be practiced, providing resources and implementing HR practices, site security and monitoring, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instruction (WI) around operations, maintenance, production, accounting, safety, environmental monitoring and reporting, documentation, and record keeping; Support establishment and implementation of facility policies, goals, objectives and procedures that are in line with the Company's Vision Statement and Strategy conferring with other management team members as appropriate. * Budget and Revenue Support meeting the Facility annual financial and commercial targets. Job Responsibilities: • Follow PM schedule, routine field inspection of all equipment, complete daily site-walk to ensure equipment visual health, and filling completed preventive maintenance work requisition/ Job Order completion on CMMS., • Monitor and operate plant process equipment in accordance with SOPs and safe industry practices., • Collect production data and adjust plant operating conditions from SCADA and in the field to achieve plant production plans and goals. Examples of production data would include but not be limited to lab analysis, plant SCADA historian data, and field logs., • Provide lab analysis for feedstock and digester material in the VVWRA facility lab. Provide lab report to engineering for analysis. Training will be provided for lab work., • Implement all site safety procedures and ensure contractors and coworkers are following safe work procedures and protocols., • Identify Spare parts, and consumables procurement need and prepare requisition for approval., • Support in stacking up of all spares, tools, and consumables (Oil, Grease, Seals, Bearings etc.) maintaining records, availability of spares on time., • Develop and maintain skills such as using forklift, hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools, examining form and texture of parts., • Inspecting and collecting information on parts/pipes and other equipment utilizing rulers, calipers, and other measuring instruments., • Follow all safety SOPs and support in fabrication of temp lines, pipes, patchwork, weld / grinding or cutting work on site., • Providing cleaning of equipment as necessary, • Ensure all calibration records for all required equipment are up to date and kept in records., • Inspects and tests eye wash stations, fire extinguishers, and other life safety systems including PPE., • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Works in a clean manner., • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed., • Flexibility in working longer hours/overtime or weekend work will be needed., • Any additional tasks requested by Facility Manager to effectively operate and maintain the facility in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner. Job Requirements: • Graduation from high school or GED equivalent., • BS with technical focus or trade school certification, • Must possess a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record, the ability to become mobile crane certified, manlift and forklift certified. Skills: • Ability to understand and show competency to effectively operate integrated plant systems., • Ability to process analytical plant production data to determine correct course of actions in plant operations., • Have the ability and capability read drawings, technical manuals and engineering specifications to maintain and fix equipment., • Identify the tools, equipment necessary for repair and maintenance work., • Identify parts and other materials required to maintain and fix equipment., • Perform basic diagnostic testing of pumps, instruments, conveyors, screws, and other industrial machinery., • Ability to check machine performance, dismantle machines and remove parts for repair using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists., • Test damaged parts in comparison to specifications. We have the following position at our Victorville Hauling division: Fleet Maintenance Supervisor The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor oversees and maintains an effective fleet maintenance program to ensure that fleet vehicles are maintained in a safe and effective manner. The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor will be able to perform duties in a timely manner and advise leadership of any potential issues that could affect the overall performance and longevity of the fleet POSITION SUMMARY: The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor oversees and maintains an effective fleet maintenance program to ensure that fleet vehicles are maintained in an effective and safety-conscious manner. The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor will be able to perform duties in a timely manner and advise leadership of any potential issues that could affect the overall performance and longevity of the fleet. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide daily guidance and support to on-site technicians to ensure all maintenance work is performed in a safe, efficient and timely manner, • Responsible for maintenance, service, diagnosing, major repair of fleet vehicles and monthly PM compliance (in multiple yards when required), • Ensure shop or facility is clean and kept in a safe, professional working manner, • Plan and schedule team workloads based on preventative maintenance tasks, utilizing budget and personnel, • Manage and maintain company RTA maintenance program, work order data and recurring preventative maintenance schedules, • Ensure vehicle documentation (i.e., registration, insurance, etc.) is current and kept in vehicle as required., • Track and provide recurring maintenance data reports to Management, • Review DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports) and distribute the noted defects via work orders to the correct personnel for repair/defect correction and confirmation of Mechanic sign off’s on the DVIR, • Ensure all company safety policies are frequently reviewed, tailgated & enforced. (LOTO, Hot Works, Fall Protection etc.), • Report any in yard(s) spills, falls, incidents to Division Manager as required, • Coordinate and direct the activities of all shop personnel including mechanics and welders, • Assign tasks for the mechanical repair of heavy duty refuse trucks, • Maintain parts inventory and container tracking, • Monitor maintenance work flow and ensures tasks are completed in a timely manner and to company standards, • Administer DOT and preventative maintenance programs while ensuring shop personnel is following safe work practices, • Process employee requests including vacation, PTO’s etc. and assists with the scheduling of time off, • Coach and develop employees by continuously communicating with team members and providing guidance for improvement and recognition of efforts, • Handle and resolve employee relations issues and incorporates consistent and timely disciplinary standards, preparation, and documentation of corrective action notices, • Follow and administer company safety programs by conducting monthly safety meetings, facility inspections and ensuring compliance to all OSHA and DOT regulations as well as SWPPP compliance, • Investigate and complete reports for work related injuries and/or vehicle accidents/incidents and submits paperwork to appropriate insurance carriers in a prompt manner, • Train new shop personnel on company training program and proper use of assigned equipment., • Responsible for submitting incident alert emails on same day of occurrence, • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing a fleet repair facility and heavy-duty Mechanics as well as thorough knowledge of HD engines, transmissions and mechanical repairs., • A valid California Driver’s license, required, • Commercial Driver’s license preferred, • Strong organizational skills and ability to motivate large groups, • Good decision making, problem solving and communication skills The job involves outdoor work and exposure to various weather conditions.
