Primary duties: • Support assessment staff in clearly writing and summarizing observations made in Quality First sites., • As needed, conduct and complete assessment tools selected by First Things First in early care and education settings in an objective, reliable and efficient manner., • Organizes gathered data and accurately scores the assessment tools., • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child or family development, social services, or related field is required., • Master's degree in early childhood education, child or family development, social services, or related field is preferred., • Minimum of five years experience as a teacher, primary care provider or professional development instructor in an early care and education setting with infants, toddlers or preschoolers., • Must be reliable on all the Assessment tools used by Quality First., • Must have reliable transportation and valid Arizona driver's license., • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card OR must qualify for a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card., • Knowledge in the following areas is preferred:, • Training, coaching, mentoring or supervision with individuals or groups in early care and education settings., • Child Development, • Early childhood education, • ADHS and DES childcare regulations, • Indicators of quality in early care and education settings, • Arizona Early Learning Standards, • Adult learning theory and practices, • Community resources SWHD takes the health and safety of our employees and the communities we serve very seriously.
