Approximately 33,000 employees generated CHF 11.20 billion in sales in 2025. Job Description Sika is looking for an experienced Blend Operator to join its growing team in Lancaster, TX. In this role, you’ll operate state‑of‑the‑art mixers, pumping systems, high‑speed mixers, and tinting equipment. You’ll take each batch from start to finish—carefully following process orders, monitoring reactions, recording data, and ensuring each batch meets our high standards. Once approved, you’ll help package finished products so they’re ready for our customers. • Participate actively in the plant’s Sika SAFE program and champion a strong safety culture., • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety policies and industrial housekeeping standards., • Perform daily inventory checks of raw and packaging materials to support production schedules., • Operate and monitor mixing equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant batch production., • Document mixing processes accurately, including order of addition, mixing times, and set points., • Perform line changeovers and basic-to-moderate equipment adjustments and troubleshooting., • Operate packaging equipment and verify that finished products meet quality standards (weight, appearance, labeling, batch information)., • Ability to perform heavy work, including lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently., • Frequent movement throughout the plant, including standing for long periods., • Ability to climb ladders/stairs, reach, push, pull, walk long distances, carry materials, and lift/position objects., • High school diploma or GED required., • 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing or an industrial production environment., • English reading, writing, and communication skills required for safety and quality documentation., • Strong math skills, including fractions, decimals, and percentages., • Ability to develop operational expertise and assist in troubleshooting processes., • Reliable attendance and flexibility to work any shift or overtime as needed., • Self-motivated with strong teamwork and communication skills., • Ability to operate a forklift and other plant equipment (training provided).
