About the role: As an HR Specialist for the Bahia Principe Sublight Coral Playa, you will act as the key Human Resources representative within the hotel, ensuring the effective execution of training, development, and selection processes. You will play a central role in supporting hotel operations through HR excellence while coordinating closely with the hotel management and the owning company on all labor-related matters. What will your key responsibilities be? • Identify training needs and collaborate with hotel leadership to develop and deliver the annual training plan., • Coordinate and monitor training activities, including logistics, materials, attendance, and reporting., • Manage training-related subsidies through FUNDAE and oversee associated invoicing and budget tracking., • Deliver mandatory trainings (e.g., Human Trafficking Prevention, Cybersecurity, Travelife)., • Facilitate onboarding processes and monitor development plans for employees., • Conduct exit interviews and gather insights for continuous improvement., • Organize engagement and recognition initiatives for employees., • Manage the full recruitment cycle for operational roles, from CV screening to onboarding coordination., • Serve as the main HR point of contact for communication and incident management with the hotel’s owning company, ensuring all labor documentation is collected, validated, and submitted properly., • Ensure compliance with internal policies, disciplinary rules, schedules, workplace safety, equality, and anti-harassment standards., • Maintain confidentiality of HR-related information and ensure proper handling of systems and resources. What are we looking for? • Degree in Psychology, Labor Relations, Business Administration or similar; additional HR training is valued., • At least two years of experience in HR generalist or operational roles, preferably in the hotel industry., • Experience in European source markets, commercial strategy in intermediated sales, or multi‑regional environments is a plus., • Knowledge across: Recruitment, Training, Development, Onboarding, HR Admin, Employee Journey., • Proficiency in English and Spanish., • Strong command of office software and HR/Finance management systems., • Key competencies: Strategic vision, results orientation, teamwork, decision‑making, leadership, and customer orientation.
