We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function across the design, planning, and technical delivery of telecommunications and electrical solutions infrastructure projects for Radlink. This role provides technical leadership, governance, and people management to ensure engineering solutions are safe, compliant, commercially viable, and delivered to the highest quality standards. Working closely with other Radlink departments and clients, the Engineering Manager ensures engineering activities support successful project execution from tender through commissioning while driving continuous improvement, innovation, and engineering excellence. The role is suited to an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in communications, electrical, and industrial infrastructure, particularly within mining and other heavy industry sectors. • Lead and develop the engineering team, providing mentoring, coaching, and performance management., • Establish engineering standards, processes, and best practices across the business., • Promote a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement., • Provide engineering leadership during tendering, project execution, and project close-out., • Ensure engineering deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget., • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across communications, electrical, and associated infrastructure., • Support constructability reviews and value engineering initiatives., • Provide technical support to project delivery teams during construction and commissioning., • Ensure engineering outputs comply with applicable legislation, Australian Standards, client specifications, and company procedures., • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors., • Assist with estimating and tender preparation., • Review engineering scopes, budgets, and resource requirements., • Identify opportunities to improve project profitability through efficient engineering solutions., • Champion a strong safety culture across engineering activities., • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, • Membership of Engineers Australia at the grade of Professional Engineer Member (MIEAust), with Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) highly regarded, • Minimum 15 years’ practical engineering experience in a professional engineering setting, in a related industry such as Telecommunications, Mining, Oil & Gas or Defence, • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Engineering Management or other relevant senior management role in a multidisciplinary project‑oriented environment, building large, high performing teams, • Significant exposure to the Engineering, Procurement and Construction contracting (EPC) environment, • Demonstrated experience working effectively with cross‑functional teams, including Engineering, Fabrication, Site Installation and Project Management., • Demonstrated experience in change management and continuous improvement methodologies, • Strong team leadership, management and development skills, • Strong influencing, negotiating and stakeholder management skills At Radlink Communications, we are committed to creating a supportive and rewarding workplace for all employees.
