Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and under the guidance of the Lead Engineer, you will develop coordinated, data-rich BIM models and contribute to innovative, high-quality mechanical engineering solutions. You will help ensure designs are fully integrated, constructible, and compliant with client requirements and industry standards while driving efficient digital design workflows and supporting the successful delivery of complex projects. /p pOther responsibilities include, but are not limited to: /p ul libDevelop, coordinate and optimise mechanical BIM models and service installation drawings /b, translating engineering designs into accurate, data-rich models, ensuring initial space reservations, multidisciplinary integration, and supporting clash detection and model coordination using tools such as Revit and Revizto. /li libCoordinate mechanical building services design /b, integrating functionality, installation, maintenance and accessibility requirements into models to deliver practical, buildable solutions while working closely with Mechanical, Plumbing and multidisciplinary project teams. /li libDrive BIM innovation and digital engineering /b, proposing and developing innovative BIM solutions, improving design automation and contributing to more efficient engineering workflows and internal processes. /li libEnsure quality and technical excellence /b, maintaining close collaboration with Project Engineers and BIM Coordinators, ensuring all deliverables meet Haskoning and client standards, and reviewing the work of junior Mechanical Engineers and BIM Modelers. /li libSupport successful project delivery and knowledge sharing /b, collaborating across international teams, sharing best practices, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, and travelling internationally when required. /li /ul h3Where you will work /h3 pHaskoning is a worldwide independent engineering, project management and consultancy firm which integrates 140 years of engineering expertise with digital technologies and software solutions. As our new Junior Electrical BIM Engineer (MCF/ Data Centres) you will become part of the team Mission Critical Facilities Spain. /p pOur global Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) team provides a multidisciplinary package of consultancy services for our datacenter clients. We provide strategic, tactical, and operational advice to our clients, including colocation datacentres, internet service providers, and telecom companies. Our team consists of colleagues with all kinds of different expertise. For example, mechanical engineering, construction, civil, structure, building, architecture, fire safety, controls engineering, and security technology. Together we use our knowledge and expertise to develop integrated designs for Data Centres. /p h3What you bring /h3 pYou are a proactive and collaborative professional with a solution-oriented mindset and a passion for innovation. You enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams, take ownership of your work, and communicate confidently with colleagues and clients to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. /p pBesides that, you have: /p ul libA bachelor's degree (Mid-level) or master's degree (Senior-level) in Mechanical Engineering /b, combined with bat least 4 years of relevant consulting engineering experience /b, enabling you to contribute to the design and delivery of complex building projects. /li libStrong expertise in Mechanical, HVAC and Plumbing engineering /b, with experience in building projects; bindustrial or mission critical/data centre projects are an advantage /b, allowing you to develop practical and technically robust engineering solutions. /li libProficiency in BIM and Revit /b (certifications are a plus), with experience using bCommon Data Environments such as Autodesk Forma /b to develop coordinated, high-quality BIM models and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams. /li libExperience with digital design and automation tools /b, such as bDynamo, Python and Rhino Inside Revit /b, to improve engineering workflows, automate repetitive tasks and support innovative design solutions. /li libExcellent communication skills and fluency in English (C1 minimum) /b to collaborate with international teams and represent Haskoning professionally. bSpanish is preferred, while Dutch and/or German are considered an advantage. /b /li /ul h3What you can expect from us /h3 pAt Haskoning, we believe that the well-being of our employees is essential to our shared success.
