As we expand our footprint across the EMEA region, we are looking for a passionate and driven HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to be the first HR hire in country and play a pivotal role in supporting the growth and development of our business as we scale in this market. As part of a growing, engaging and highly collaborative (global) HR team, you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact on the employee experience (in country) and help shape the future of the company’s culture, values, and talent strategy. The successful candidate will be able to adapt smoothly and quickly in a multi-cultural, entrepreneurial environment supporting HR Operations, as well as associated compliance and administrative requirements (for France primarily, but also in support of other countries in EMEA as required). What you will be doing: • Act as the first point of contact on (local) HR queries, offering guidance and support as needed, • Support onboarding to make sure new hires are welcomed and set up for success, • Process (local) payroll with high accuracy and timeliness, • Administer local benefits, including enrolments, changes, and terminations, • Support local immigration and compliance matters, • Work on HR systems, producing meaningful data to support and improve decision making, • Support local engagement, fostering and maintaining a vibrant and engaging work culture, • Contribute to both Regional and global HR projects What we can offer you • Role ideally will be based from our site location in Lisses. With regular (weekly) travel to our corporate office location (in central Paris). Happy to also consider a base from the corporate office in central Paris, with regular (weekly) travel to Lisses., • Competitive salary & bonus, • Multicultural environment, • Development opportunity (grow with us and gain exposure to Regional & global projects as you develop in post) What you need to thrive: • 2-3 years’ relevant HR experience in a fast paced, growing organisation (essential) - to include HR Ops, Payroll, local compliance etc, • Good understanding of (French) labor law (and work council set up / maintenance), as well as effective HR & employee relations (best) practices in France, • Flexible approach; solutions focused mindset; strong desire to learn and drive improvements; passion for helping others succeed and for delivering excellence in employee experience, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. Native French speaker (with fluent English, business proficiency) required
