We are a small independent café situated on Highbury corner, north London serving French pastries, cakes and hot food, our main espresso is from Monmouth Coffee and we use Estate Dairy, Oatly and Bonsoy milk. We are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable and energetic barista who is capable of making great consistent coffees, and works well under pressure as this little place can get busy at times. Need to be comfortable with dialling in a well balanced espresso, cleaning and maintaining La Marzocco Linea Classic and VA Mythos 1 grinder and be able to do latte art. You’ll be working in a small team daily, we’re very relaxed and always welcome to new ideas!
We are currently operating as takeaway so looking for someone who is adaptable with changes as we emerge from lockdown, so the right candidate may need to take on extra responsibilities as we resume eating in service in the next few months.
You’ll be working 26hours a week (Mon-Fri 8-5pm Sat, Sun 9-5pm) with a day on the weekend. However we are looking to expand so there will be an opportunity to take on more shifts!
