GLL are currently recruiting trainee Swimming Teachers to join us at Abbey Sports Centre. The STA qualifications are nationally recognised and will give you the skills to teach non-swimmers, beginners, and improvers. We are the largestSwimming Schoolin the UK and our continued growth means we are looking to qualify and employ a growing number ofSwimming Teachers. So, if youd like the opportunity to gain the qualifications and training needed to teach people of all ages and abilities how to swim, apply to be a TraineeSwimming Teacher. Successful applicants will befully fundedto complete their STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming. We have a range of hours available across weekdays and weekends. The next available STA Level 2 Award Course will be over the summer months in South Oxfordshire. What you need: • A competent swimmer., • A good communicator (verbal and non-verbal)., • A good motivator (supportive and able to give feedback)., • Approachable and patient in nature., • Imaginative., • Willing to learn and commit to a 5-day intensive training course. Hours of work will be negotiated with you in line with the needs of the service, flexible working may be possible, working from home is not possible in this role.
