The work we do currently focuses on three areas: • specific interventions that break down immediate financial barriers for disabled students, • support that upskills and empowers emerging disabled leaders who are driving change, • research, partnerships and campaigning which challenge structural barriers to disability inclusion We’re a small charity with limited resources so we pull together internally, and we collaborate strategically with partners to amplify our impact. Your experience matters less than your aptitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn. You will need to come to us with some ready-made social media content creation and engagement skills so you can hit the ground running, but as part of a close-knit team, you’ll be supported to develop your craft across communications, fundraising, and event delivery, while contributing meaningfully to a mission-driven organisation that champions disability inclusion. You will have a genuine interest in our work, along with the curiosity and desire to learn and develop further expertise that enables our small team to deliver big value across all our programmes. You will already have confidence using digital tools and social media platforms and you will demonstrate a flair for copy-writing and content design. You will have strong organisational skills, a proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn. Above all, you will have a demonstrable passion for our work. We are particularly keen to receive an application from you if you have lived experience or professional experience in the areas of our work. Disability is represented in every tier of our staff, trustee and volunteer teams, and as a Disability Confident committed employer, we will guarantee you an interview if you have a disability and meet the minimum person specification for the role. Experience in some or all the elements of this role will be helpful, but we are just as interested in employing you if you have the right skillset and aptitude, even if you don’t have specific prior experience.
