Registered Home Manager – Children’s Residential Care (CIW Registered) Location: Cardiff Salary: £50,000 – £54000 + bonus Hours: Monday to Friday | 8-hour shifts | Overtime available Job Type: Full-time | Permanent Important: Applicants must have proven experience managing children’s residential care homes. As a Registered Home Manager, you’ll lead a dedicated team in delivering high-quality residential childcare services. Key Responsibilities • Manage and lead a children’s residential care home in line with CIW regulations, • Oversee care planning, assessments, and safeguarding procedures, • Deliver trauma-informed, person-centred care, • Mentor and develop your team, ensuring compliance and best practice, • Collaborate with our in-house therapeutic team and external professionals Essential Requirements • QCF Level 4/5 Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People), • 2+ years’ experience managing a children’s residential care home, • Knowledge of Welsh regulatory frameworks, • Full UK driving licence, • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Additional Benefits: Company pension Referral programme Health & wellbeing programme Career development opportunities Safer Recruitment Employment is subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and the right to work in the UK.
