About the job We are seeking a confident Room Attendant to become part of our team at Quest Apartments Hotels, Liverpool. Our properties operate 24/7; therefore, the department works on a rotating shift basis on a seven-day period. Please note this position is part time, 20 hours a week/5 days a week. You will report to the Head Housekeeper, supporting towards providing our guests with memorable experiences of the city. As our Room Attendant, you will be responsible for: Responding to Housekeeping requests required as directed Cleaning equipment and rooms according to Quest standards Ensuring the upkeep of all common areas Communicating with guests in a friendly and professional manner in accordance with procedures Working with all departments in the property to ensure operational efficiency Being aware of all Health & Safety requirements. We’re looking for someone to drive the business growth within the company, develop a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects, making sales projections and forecasting revenue, in line with projected income. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the hospitality or catering industry, with a wide range of transferable skills and experience. We’re looking for a confident and charismatic individual to enhance our team and to build credibility and relationships with both existing and new customers. Duties and Responsibilities - Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, customers, partnerships and/or new products and services. - Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities. - Building relationships with other team members, new clients, gauging their needs, and developing proposals to address these needs. - Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients. - Extensive production knowledge to support advice/guidance for customers based on their requirements - Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends. Experience/Skills Required - Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask and self motivate - Excellent customer service skills - An effective communicator - Commercial awareness and market research experience - Technical skills to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on the client’s requirements - Effective use of Microsoft suite i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint - An established network within the hospitality/catering industry The role is being offered on a full time basis Monday – Friday during office working hours.* As an inclusive organisation who supports working families, start times may be flexible depending on individual need. *there may occasionally be the opportunity to attend networking events that fall outside of office working hours.
