Roles and Responsibilities: • Operate one or more CNC machines in the Cell, • Complete a ‘machine health check list’ daily, • Responsible for documenting and tracking in the Cell, • Stamp off your own work, • Report NCR’s (Non-Conformance Reports), • Converse with the Production Team Leader and assist with other duties when needed, • Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, • Partake in training when required, • Minimise the level of scrap components, • Mentor and support new staff or apprentices, • Establish key delivery dates/requirements with the Production Team Leader and Production Manager, • Experience operating CNC Milling Machines, • Previously used Fanuc controls, • Engineering qualification preferably craft apprenticeship or equivalent, • Basic CNC programming and machine competence, • Good written and verbal communication skills, • Ability to be able to read and understand engineering drawings, • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs, • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form, • 37.5 hours on a double day shift (shift allowance included), • Earlies: Monday to Thursday: 06:00am – 14:00pm and Friday: 06:00am – 11:00am We strive to provide the ultimate consultancy service to all our candidates.
