We act as a unique bridge between the channel and the end user, also reaching design consultants, digital and creative agencies along with events, rental, and production companies.\n\nAs an Account Manager you are responsible for driving sales revenues across AV Magazine’s print, digital and event portfolios. Your key goal is to grow our business sales through effective delivery of features, supplements, special projects, and sponsorship sales. You will also be expected to exemplify team standards and behaviours. Driven, with a true desire to succeed in a sales environment. You will be tenacious, resilient, with a willingness to succeed.\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\nManaging the development of revenue by achieving agreed personal targets and preparing proposals\n\nTaking a proactive approach to lead sourcing in-order- to uncover new business opportunities\n\nLiaising with clients daily to discuss and identify their advertising requirements – devising an advertising campaign that meets their needs and budget\n\nCreating new business relationships whilst building rapport and growing existing business to increase revenue across your client area\n\nEnsure YOY growth of portfolio through the acquisition of new business, including sourcing your own new business leads.\n\nLead trading updates with your line manager and key stakeholders weekly and always have 100% accuracy of numbers and pipelines.\n\nMaintain a robust and ambitious sales plan and ensure maximum delivery against sales targets for entire portfolio.\n\nTo raise and maintain brand profile and become the recognised face of your portfolio, internally and externally.\n\nClosely monitor competitor activity and understand the market forces influencing your sector.\n\nSkills and experience:\n\nProven and successful track record of a consultative new business approach\n\nEvidence of success in building and managing relationships with key decision makers\n\nEducation to degree level or equivalent desirable but not essential\n\nIntermediate Microsoft Office skills.\n\nExperienced using CRM.\n\nPrevious experience with a structured sales training method.\n\nCore competencies:\n\nStrong commercial awareness.\n\nCollaborative team player.\n\nTime management and organizational skills\n\nExceptional customer service standards both internal and external\n\nPersonal Attributes:\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\n\nSelf-motivated\n\nEntrepreneurial and curious\n\nHigh level of emotional intelligence\n\nProactive approach to personal development\n\nRepresenting the brand, you will be an ambassador.
