Role Overview We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Support Workers to join our Supported Living team in Colchester. As part of our team, you will provide day-to-day support tailored to individual needs, ensuring service users are supported to live independently and achieve their personal goals. Key Responsibilities Provide person-centred care and support in line with individual care plans. Assist with daily living tasks including meal preparation, personal care, and household duties. Support service users in accessing community activities, education, and employment opportunities. Encourage independence, confidence, and personal development. Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company policies and CQC requirements. Promote health, safety, and wellbeing at all times. Requirements Previous experience in care or supported living (preferred but not essential – full training provided). A genuine passion for supporting others and making a difference in people’s lives. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. Field Care Supervisor will require working in the field and the office • Company car can be provided, • Working hours will be flexible., • Training will be provided Job Description: • To undertake assessments for new packages, • Conduct Risk Assessments as part of the Individual Needs Assessment and to update these as required as part of the Service User's risk management (Re-assessments at 6-monthly intervals for double-handed service users, and annually, or as required, for all other service users), • Report any changes in a Service User to the Care Coordinating Team., • Monitor all Service Users for customer satisfaction., • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all documentation held in Service Users' homes., • Ensure that all written reports and administration is up to date and signed off by Operations Management Team., • Liaise closely with the Senior Care – Coordinator/Operations Management Team and report back regularly on activity in the field., • To attend service user reviews as required by the Local Authority., • To record on the system the outcomes of all such reviews., • To carry out spot visits to Service users’ homes whilst Care Workers are in attendance when required., • Responding to complaints and queries from service users.

Provide vision, leadership, and direction to the care team. Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children in the home. Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and placement stability. Work in partnership with local authorities, social workers, health professionals, and families. Ensure the home operates effectively within budgets and staffing requirements. Develop a trauma-informed, therapeutic culture that supports recovery and resilience. Maintain appropriate occupancy levels (up to 3 children) while prioritising individual needs.
