Social Worker – Adult Social Care Learning and Disabilities Oxfordshire – Multiple positions available Temp available - £35 - £38 Umbrella Perm available – £38,220 – £40,777 Annually We are seeking a committed and motivated Social Worker to join our Adult Social Care service within the People Care – Social Care and Education Professional Pathway. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting adults with diverse and complex needs, using a strength-based and person-centred approach. As a Social Worker in Adult Social Care, you will: • Undertake Care Act assessments and reviews for adults with varying levels of need, • Work collaboratively with individuals, families, carers, and partner agencies, • Develop outcome-focused support plans that promote independence and safety, • Manage risk and complete safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 of the Care Act, • Participate in duty and act as a trusted assessor., • Prepare and contribute evidence for Court of Protection applications with guidance from a Practice Supervisor. Professional Development • Newly qualified Social Workers will complete the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) within their first 12 months, • Opportunities for progression to Advanced Social Worker (Grade 11) through the Progression Pathway, • Ongoing supervision and professional support Essential Requirements • Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work, • Registration with Social Work England, • Experience in adult social care, including assessments, reviews, and safeguarding, • Strong communication, analytical, and report-writing skills, • Knowledge of relevant legislation and strength-based practice, • Ability to work independently and collaboratively To find out more information please contact Lily at Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices.
