We are always looking for talented/aspiring support staff to join our team and help us deliver high-quality education to learners. \n SEND Tutor, Manchester from £37k \n Reed FE are recruiting for a SEND Advisory Tutor to support learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a further education setting. \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Provide specialist support and guidance to learners with SEND.\n, • Manage a caseload of students, monitoring progress and identifying support needs.\n, • Develop and implement tailored support strategies and interventions.\n, • Support learners in achieving EHCP outcomes and personal targets.\n, • Liaise with curriculum teams to ensure appropriate classroom support and reasonable adjustments are in place.\n, • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with SEND and safeguarding requirements.\n\n We are looking for candidates who have: \n\n • Experience supporting young people or adults with SEND.\n, • Knowledge of EHCP processes and SEND legislation.\n, • Previous experience as a SEND Tutor, SEND Adviser, Learning Support Manager, Inclusion Practitioner, Learning Mentor or Specialist Support Worker.\n, • Knowledge of autism, learning disabilities, ADHD and mental health needs.\n, • Experience working within Further Education, Sixth Form, Training Providers or Specialist SEND settings.\n\n All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years’ referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed.
