What you'll be doing Working alongside our Head Chef you will: • Assist with preparing fresh meals and desserts for our residents., • Help serve meals in a timely and friendly manner., • Wash pots, utensils and kitchen equipment., • Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen., • Complete daily cleaning schedules., • Follow food hygiene and infection control procedures., • Support stock rotation and organisation., • Work closely with the care team to ensure residents receive the correct meals and special diets., • Help create a warm, welcoming dining experience for our residents. What we're looking for We're looking for someone who is: • Reliable and punctual., • Hardworking with a positive attitude., • Able to work well within a team., • Happy working in a busy kitchen environment., • Passionate about cleanliness and food hygiene., • Caring and respectful towards older people., • Flexible to work weekdays, weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. A Food Hygiene Certificate would be advantageous. Why join Parkview?     Job Description Payroll and Compensation Accountant (m/f/d) – Freshers & Experienced Welcome Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Lohn- und Gehaltsbuchhalter / Payroll and Compensation Accountant (m/f/d) to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will manage the complete payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely salary payments for all employees. You will oversee payroll data entry, maintain compliance with relevant regulations, and collaborate closely with human resources to support employee compensation activities. Your expertise in accounting software and HRIS systems will be essential to streamline payroll operations and uphold data integrity. We welcome applications from both entry-level candidates and experienced professionals. Working hours: 32 hours/week, Monday to Wednesday & Friday – Thursdays off! Duties • Process employee salary payments accurately using various accounting software and HRIS platforms such as Workday, PeopleSoft, or similar systems, • Manage payroll data entry, including attendance records, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and benefits administration, • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies related to payroll processing, • Reconcile payroll accounts regularly and prepare detailed reports for management review, • Collaborate with human resources to update employee information and resolve payroll discrepancies, • Handle accounts payable related to employee reimbursements and vendor payments connected to payroll activities, • Maintain meticulous records of payroll transactions, adjustments, and audit documentation Qualifications • Entry-level candidates are explicitly encouraged to apply – we also welcome applicants with proven experience as a Lohn- und Gehaltsbuchhalter (m/f/d) or in a similar payroll accounting role, • Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or comparable systems, or willingness to learn quickly, • Experience working with HRIS platforms like Workday or PeopleSoft is a plus, but not required, • Knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance standards in Germany (or willingness to develop this knowledge), • Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy, • Analytical skills to interpret payroll data and resolve discrepancies efficiently, • Familiarity with accounts payable procedures and financial reconciliation processes is a plus, • Basic understanding of human resources functions related to compensation management Join us to be part of a dedicated team delivering precise payroll solutions that empower our organization — whether you're just starting out or bring years of experience.
