The Village Playgroup is recruiting for two roles: Pre-school Manager and Setting Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo). Pre-school Manager • £14.97 per hour, • Minimum 15 hours per week, • 28 days’ holiday per annum, pro rata The successful candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children with a range of needs. Responsibilities include: • Leading day-to-day operations, supervising staff and conducting professional appraisals, • Delivering a play-based curriculum aligned with the EYFS framework, • Maintaining high safeguarding, health and safety standards, • Building effective partnerships with parents, carers and external agencies, • Managing administration, policies and compliance with statutory requirements Applicants should have: • A Department for Education-approved Level 3 or higher early years qualification, • At least two to three years’ experience in an early years setting, • Strong knowledge of the EYFS, child development and safeguarding, • A clear enhanced DBS check, • A suitable Level 2 mathematics qualification On-site parking is available, and the setting is served by a bus route.
