About The Team: Our Public Sector Audit team plays a key role in strengthening public accountability by delivering independent audits to local authorities, central government departments, NHS bodies, and other publicly funded organisations. What You'll Do: • Lead Audits – Manage a portfolio of audits for Public Sector across local government, NHS, and central bodies, delivering accurate, compliant and high-quality work., • Build Relationships – Develop strong client connections, acting as a key contact to resolve queries promptly and ensure billing runs smoothly., • Ensure Excellence – Oversee audit delivery to agreed timescales, ensuring standards, procedures and quality expectations are consistently met., • Professional Qualification – ACA / ACCA / CA (or equivalent)., • Sector Expertise – Experience auditing publicly funded bodies such as local authorities, central government departments, NHS trusts, and other government-aligned organisations., • Leadership Experience – Ability to take the lead multiple external audits, you'll work closely with senior managers and supervise/mentor team members., • Technical Knowledge – Strong understanding of UK GAAP (FRS 102), IFRS, and the Companies Act.
