Job Purpose: As UK Contracts Manager, you'll oversee the full lifecycle of contracts related to our clients airport shuttle services in the UK. This includes supplier agreements (e.g., bus operators, depots, maintenance), client/partnership contracts (e.g., airport authorities, corporate clients), and regulatory/compliance frameworks. You'll ensure all contracts align with company standards for safety, punctuality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction while driving cost efficiencies and supporting route expansions. Key Responsibilities • Manage and negotiate UK-specific contracts with bus operators, subcontractors, depots, fuel/maintenance providers, and airport stakeholders to secure reliable service delivery, • Monitor contract performance, KPIs (e.g., on-time performance, vehicle utilisation, compliance with PSV regulations), and SLAs; identify risks and implement corrective actions, • Handle contract renewals, variations, terminations, and dispute resolution in line with UK transport laws (e.g., Traffic Commissioners, DVSA, PSVAR compliance), • Collaborate with the UK Operations team to align contracts with daily scheduling, network planning, and real-time adjustments (e.g., flight delays), • Support tender processes and new route bids, including preparing commercial proposals and ensuring competitive pricing, • Maintain strong relationships with key partners to facilitate smooth operations and future growth, • Ensure full compliance with UK regulations (Traffic Commissioners, data protection/GDPR, health & safety, environmental standards) and internal company policies, • Report on contract performance metrics, cost savings, and risks to senior management; contribute to budgeting and forecasting, • Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, finance, and IT teams to integrate contract terms into booking systems and customer communications Requirements & Qualificatio • Proven experience (3–7+ years) as a Contracts Manager, Commercial Manager, or similar in the UK bus/coach/transport sector (airport transfers, passenger transport, or public service vehicles preferred, • Strong knowledge of UK transport regulations (PSV Operator Licensing, Traffic Commissioners, DVSA standards, PSVAR accessibility, tachograph/compliance rules, • Experience negotiating and managing B2B contracts, subcontractors, and supplier agreements in a dynamic operational environmen, • Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to balance cost control, risk management, and service qualit, • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented with a proactive mindset, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel for data analysis, contracts tracking); familiarity with transport management software an advantag, • Full UK driving licence preferred but not essentia, • Right to work in the UK; fluent English (additional languages a plus)
