JOB TITLE – Assistant Academy Manager DEPARTMENT – Golf – The Celtic Collection CONTRACT\n TYPE - Full Time | Permanent RATE OF\n PAY - £29,794 per annum LOCATION – Celtic Manor Resort, Newport, NP18 1HQ Are you\n passionate about delivering world?class golf experiences while\n leading a high?performing team? We are looking for a dynamic and\n driven Assistant Academy Manager to help shape the future of our renowned\n Golf Academy at The Celtic Collection. About the\n Role As Assistant\n Academy Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the operational and\n commercial success of our Golf & Retail Operation. You’ll oversee the day?to?day\n running of our state?of?the?art facilities, including: • Toptracer Driving Range, • PGA Teaching Studios, • VIP Room, • Driving Range Outfield, • Academy Retail Experience You’ll also\n support the delivery of PGA tuition, ensure exceptional guest engagement, and\n champion standards across all Academy areas. What\n You’ll Be Doing Leading the Academy team to deliver outstanding guest service and a five?star golf experience. Supporting coaching delivery with PGA professionals, ensuring top?quality tuition for residents, members and visitors. Driving commercial performance across the Academy, including retail, custom fitting, Toptracer revenue and teaching programmes. Ensuring immaculate presentation and safe operation of all teaching facilities, equipment and systems. Developing innovative teaching packages, junior programmes, corporate clinics and seasonal offerings. Monitoring stock, supporting monthly stocktakes and maximising retail sales opportunities. Supporting rota planning to optimise staffing levels and efficiency. Working closely with Golf & Retail leaders to enhance membership engagement and promote all Academy services. About You • Experience leading a team in a retail\n and/or driving range environment., • Minimum 1 year’s experience delivering golf\n tuition (PGA qualified desirable)., • Strong communication and interpersonal\n skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships., • Confident using Microsoft Office and golf?specific\n systems (e.g. Concept)., • Highly organised with strong attention to\n detail and a passion for outstanding service., • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to\n support business needs, including weekends and peak periods.
