Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader – Building Surveying Full time (35 hrs/wk), permanent Remote place of work with a minimum of six visits per year to Horizons Salary £48,000 to £58,000 pa plus benefits We are searching for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Lecturer to join our busy School of the Built Environment team. As a Programme Leader, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of the BSc (Hons) Building Surveying programme. You will play an integral role in contributing to an excellent and successful student experience within the University, and making a meaningful impact on the future of the Built Environment. We expect you to have strong IT and digital skills and be passionate about teaching online. Your accountabilities and responsibilities include: • Be the subject area expert and advocate for Building Surveying, • Deliver high quality, engaging, inclusive, and pedagogically online teaching across Building Surveying modules, • Professional teaching qualification such as Post-Graduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE) and/or HEA fellowship or willingness to study for this, • Full membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Chartered Association of Building Engineers (MCABE) or Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB), • Degree level qualification in Building Surveying, Construction Management or cognate discipline We are a long-standing and leading provider of supported online education with a long-term ambition to be the world’s most sustainable university.
