£30,000 - £35,000 per annum Sunderland Permanent | Full-Time Are you an experienced Deputy Manager or Care Manager looking for your next opportunity within domiciliary care? Would you thrive in a hands-on leadership role where you can support an established service, develop a team and play a key part in maintaining high standards of care? This could be the opportunity for you. We are recruiting for an experienced Deputy Manager to support the leadership of a well-established domiciliary care branch in Sunderland, currently delivering just under 1,000 care hours per week. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong care professional to play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service, supporting the Registered Manager while helping to drive quality, compliance and continued growth. • Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the domiciliary care service, • Help maintain high standards of quality and compliance with CQC regulations, • Lead, support and develop the care and office teams, • Oversee care planning, assessments, reviews and risk management, • Support with safeguarding concerns, incidents and investigations, • Assist with recruitment, training, supervision and performance management, • Monitor quality through audits, spot checks and service reviews, • Build strong relationships with clients, families and healthcare professionals, • Support the continued growth and development of the branch, • Take responsibility for the service in the Registered Manager's absence, • Promote a positive culture focused on teamwork, quality and person-centred care, • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Care Manager, Team Manager or Senior within domiciliary/home care, • Good understanding of CQC regulations and compliance, • Experience leading and supporting care teams, • Strong knowledge of care planning, safeguarding and quality assurance, • Excellent communication and organisational skills, • A proactive and hands-on approach to management, • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care would be desirable, although not essential, • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, • £30,000 - £35,000 basic salary, • Opportunity to support an established branch delivering just under 1,000 care hours per week, • Work closely with an experienced Registered Manager and senior leadership team, • Career progression opportunities, • Professional training and development, • Permanent, full-time position We are an equal opportunities employer, and all applications will be assessed solely on merit. #J-18808-Ljbffr
