The Role: We are looking for a solicitor with strong commercial awareness and a genuine interest in supporting growing businesses. The successful candidate will advise clients across a wide range of business needs, from contracts and compliance to dispute resolution and employment matters. You will work directly with clients, helping them move forward with clarity, confidence, and compliance. Key Responsibilities: • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and supplier agreements., • Provide advice on data protection, privacy, and GDPR compliance., • Support clients with corporate governance, company documentation, and regulatory filings., • Advise on employment agreements, HR legal issues, and internal policy development., • Review marketing and website content for legal compliance., • Deliver early-stage dispute advisory services to minimise risk and escalation., • Contribute to internal training sessions and knowledge-sharing with client teams., • Liaise with international clients and provide guidance with awareness of cross-border issues. Requirements: • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (or working towards a practising certificate) with more than 2 years’ post-qualification experience, and additional legal qualifications and/or rights of audience to practise before Indian courts., • Additional legal qualifications or experience in another jurisdiction are highly desirable., • Strong knowledge of data protection, privacy, and compliance frameworks., • Experience in commercial contracts and corporate law., • Exposure to dispute resolution and early-stage conflict management., • Excellent communication, drafting, and client-handling skills., • Ability to manage multiple matters and work independently. We’re looking for a passionate Head Chef with a flair for creating fresh and vibrant dishes with a Latin twist for a new Cuban tapas restaurant and cocktail bar, launching soon in Margate. As Head Chef, you’ll be at the heart of our café, designing seasonal menus, managing day-to-day kitchen operations, and inspiring the team to deliver consistently high-quality food. What You’ll Do · Lead and manage the kitchen team (currently one sous chef) to deliver outstanding dishes. · Create exciting, seasonal menus with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients with a Latin twist. · Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene. · Kitchen management to include food ordering, preparation, and stock control to achieve budget targets. · When required, train, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen staff. · Ensure compliance with all health and safety and food hygiene regulations. What We’re Looking For · Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a similar environment. · Strong organisational skills. · A knowledge of creating fresh, enticing food with a Latin twist. · Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. · Oversee that the team conforms to health and hygiene regulations. · Must have at least a Level 3 Food and Hygiene Certificate.
