    We are seeking a dedicated, physically capable, multi-skilled full-time ground worker to maintain a stunning private estate in rural Northamptonshire. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role best suited to someone with strength, stamina, and a proactive attitude. The successful candidate will be working outdoors year-round and must be comfortable with a varied workload that includes both routine maintenance and more intensive landscaping work. Key Responsibilities: • Planting, moving, and maintaining large trees and heavy plants – often by hand in locations with limited access, • Laying heavy paving slabs and assisting with hardscaping projects, • General estate gardening using a range of machinery and tools (push mowers, ride-on mowers, chainsaws, strimmers, hedge trimmers), • Driving and manoeuvring a tractor fitted with bucket, forks, and trailer, • Work at height, including scaffolding up to 6m and assisting with tree surgery, • There is a large amount of tall hedge trimming taking place from June to September, • Regular maintenance of tools and equipment Requirements: • Excellent physical condition and able to lift and carry heavy loads, • Comfortable working at height and in all weather conditions, • Flexibility to work overtime, sometimes at short notice, to complete urgent or ongoing tasks, • Holidays to be taken outside of peak seasonal workload (May-August), • Fluent English speaker, • Full UK driving licence required, with experience operating tractors and towing trailers, • Some level of mechanical skills is a plus Ideal Candidate: • Practical, hardworking, and reliable, • Able to work independently, • Positive attitude and takes pride in a job well done, • Experience on rural estates or similar outdoor roles, • Comfortable working on scaffold and ladders This is a permanent, full-time position. Salary will be competitive and based on experience. Separate accommodation on site may be available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities: • Operate Curtain sided tail Lift lorries safely and efficiently, following all road safety regulations and company policies., • Load and secure cargo properly before starting the journey to ensure safe transit., • Plan and optimise delivery routes for efficiency and timely deliveries., • Deliver goods on time, particularly to local shops in London and surrounding areas., • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any faults or issues promptly., • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs according to legal requirements., • Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules, delays, or issues., • Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards throughout operations. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably in delivery driving or logistics., • Valid UK driving licence with appropriate categories (e.g., C+E for large vehicles)., • Experience operating Curtain sided tail Lift lorries is highly desirable., • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving., • Excellent knowledge of London roads for local shop deliveries and a good understanding of the London area., • Ability to securely load and handle cargo., • Excellent organisational skills and time management., • Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members., • Ability to work independently and responsibly on long routes or schedules.
