Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate athletes of all ages and skill levels. As a Sports Coach, you will be responsible for developing training programmes, enhancing athletic performance, and fostering a positive team environment. This will be for an afterschool Multisports club at a Primary school based in Duffield DE56. Tuesdays 3:30pm - 4:30pm Duties • Design and implement training sessions tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams., • Teach fundamental skills, strategies, and techniques in various sports disciplines., • Monitor athlete progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance., • Organise and lead practice sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment., • Develop game plans and strategies for competitions while promoting teamwork and sportsmanship., • Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other coaching staff to ensure alignment on goals and expectations., • Maintain records of athlete performance, attendance, and behaviour for assessment purposes., • Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques, trends in sports science, and safety protocols. Skills • Proven experience in sports coaching with a strong understanding of various sports disciplines., • Excellent teaching skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner., • Strong leadership qualities to motivate athletes and foster teamwork., • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with athletes, parents, and colleagues., • Ability to assess individual athlete needs and adapt training accordingly., • Strong organisational skills to manage schedules, training sessions, and administrative tasks effectively., • A passion for sports and a commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles among athletes. We’re looking for an experienced Installation Manager to oversee kitchen and bedroom installation projects once they’ve been sold. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone with a strong background in the kitchen trade who’s looking to step away from full-time installation work but still stay actively involved in the industry.
