In just four years, GenM has built a powerful collective of over 140 consumer brands — from Dove, Colgate, Centrum, Sanex, Sure, Wild and Tena to major UK retailers including Boots, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons and WHSmith. We’ve spoken on global stages, won coveted awards, and conducted pioneering research that shows the changing menopause landscape in the UK. We’re growing at pace in the UK and have recently expanded into Australia and Southeast Asia, with further markets planned for launch within the next 12 months. Due to our fast-paced growth we’re building a gold-standard team to support our aspirations of becoming the globally recognised certification for menopause products and services. The Role We’re seeking a Certification & Compliance Executive to support the delivery, governance and record-keeping of the MTick certification process. Working closely with the Head of Certification & Compliance, this role ensures that product applications are assessed accurately, evidence is reviewed consistently, and partners receive clear, compliant guidance throughout. This is an ideal role for a recent science graduate, with an interest in regulatory affairs, quality assurance, scientific review, or technical administration who is looking to grow within a fast-paced, high-impact organisation. Responsibilities Certification Operations • Support the full lifecycle of MTick product applications, ensuring all required evidence, documentation and product information is submitted in the correct format., • Conduct first-line checks on regulatory compliance, evidence validity and adherence to category-specific criteria (supplements, foods, cosmetics, fabrics, tech, etc.)., • Prepare files for formal assessment by the Head of C&C, flagging gaps, risks or areas requiring clarification., • Work alongside the Partner Relations team to guide brands through the certification process, answering technical queries within scope and escalating appropriately., • Provide clear, compliant explanations of evidence expectations (e.g. permitted claims, substantiation standards, clinical evidence, nutrient criteria)., • Ensure that MTick protocols, SOPs and internal documentation are followed and maintained, including acceptable evidence guidelines and category-specific requirements., • Assist in monitoring evolving regulatory landscapes across the UK and EU (ASA, MHRA, FSA, EFSA, cosmetic and textiles standards)., • Help to prepare monthly certification dashboards and KPI summaries for the Heads of Department meeting., • Contribute to internal process improvements that enhance efficiency, transparency or rigour., • Liaise with regulatory contacts, external advisers, and industry bodies (e.g. HFMA, FSA, MHRA) where information requests or clarifications are required. Essential • Science-based degree or equivalent experience, • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review evidence objectively and consistently., • Excellent written communication with confidence summarising technical information into clear, accessible language., • Highly organised, with meticulous attention to detail and strong document-control discipline., • Competent using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable working with structured file systems., • Experience in the consumer goods, supplements, foods, cosmetics, or healthcare sectors., • Experience in regulatory affairs, quality assurance, scientific assessment, product compliance, or similar technical role., • Familiarity with UK/EU regulatory frameworks (e.g. ASA, MHRA borderline guidance, EFSA NHC database, INCI, FSA nutrient rules)., • 25 days holiday + Bank holidays, • Pension, • Remote working, • Mission-driven work, • Fast-growing company with impact, • Collaborative culture, • Opportunities for learning and progression, • Flexible and supportive working environment.
