We are currently seeking Casual Artform Tutors in the following disciplines: Drama and Dance. These roles provide an opportunity to really make a difference within our local communities and to enrich the opportunities for participants through the delivery of workshops & classes. In order to be a success in these roles, you will require to be trained and skilled to HND/SVQ4 level or equivalent in a relevant discipline to one of the above artforms. You will be experienced, creative and enthusiastic about arts in the community. You will require to be well organised, flexible and give attention to detail. In addition, you will bring previous experience in tutoring and have good communication and interpersonal skills. You will require the ability to lead, work alone or as part of a team. You will be required to travel around the North Lanarkshire area and ideally hold a current driving licence valid for driving in the UK. You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member through Disclosure Scotland and obtain a satisfactory membership check prior to commencing in this role. These are casual roles with no fixed hours or working pattern, but applicants should be willing to work daytime, evenings, weekends and public holidays and be willing to attend training sessions. As Learning Assistant (Universal) you will work with children, to support them in their school environment. There will also be a requirement to care for children, assist with their personal hygiene requirements and ensure the maintenance of stocks of hygiene sundries where necessary. Daily reception and departure of children and messenger or escort duties will also be a part of the role.
