    Now looking for a Head Chef at Boulebar Spitalfields! We are a fun-loving pétanque bar based in London. Opened in November 2024, we are always on the lookout for superstars to help us give our guests the very best experience! We are looking for a Chef to serve quality dishes - every day, for every guest. We are happy and loving hosts, who are experts in greeting and caring for our guests. You will create an environment for your team to grow, deliver and be focused in the right areas at the right time. You will make sure that the kitchen operates according to Boulebar standards, with full insight and knowledge of our products, principles and service system. Our expectations: • You are an experienced Chef within hospitality, • You are passionate about food and people, • You understand HACCP rules and follow the routines for good hygiene at all times, • You are highly organised Your tasks • Build an in-depth knowledge of our menu, ingredients, product origins and allergens., • Know our Kitchen Book by heart., • Be present at Boulebar by working actively in service., • Have strong communication with your fellow team members, constantly sharing time frames, stock levels and shift tasks., • Be one step ahead of orders and sittings through clear communication with the restaurant team., • Keep clean and tidy work stations., • Support your team with preparations and stock ordering., • Follow the laws of HACCP and fire safety., • Participate in weekly meetings with your management team., • Be a team player - you help out! It may happen that you get to help in other areas or functions of the business if there is a need. We will provide you with: • Knowledge of our products and how to sell and serve., • A tried-and-tested toolbox with all the tools needed to succeed., • Detailed insight into how Boulebar works, our business principles, organisation, tools, brand and product., • An expert knowledge of (and passion for) pétanque. We love variety and you may have gained your experience from many different places. Mainly, we look for a few key characteristics that we think are important.     In this hands-on role, you will be primarily responsible for the installation, testing, and proactive maintenance of both CCTV and access control systems. You will work closely with project managers and fellow engineers to ensure all assignments are completed efficiently, on time, and uphold our high standards of quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities • Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and thoroughly test new CCTV (IP and analogue) and access control systems., • Quality Assurance: Ensure all installed systems meet specific client requirements and comply with all relevant industry and regulatory standards., • Maintenance & Support: Conduct routine system maintenance, fault finding, and advanced troubleshooting on existing installations., • Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed, accurate documentation and reports for all installation and maintenance activities., • Client Management: Liaise professionally and effectively with clients on-site to understand requirements, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction., • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless project handovers and operational continuity. Skills and Experience Required • Proven Experience: Demonstrated professional background in the installation and maintenance of modern CCTV and access control systems., • Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of current security system technology, networking, and components., • Safety & Compliance: Excellent understanding of UK health and safety regulations relevant to site work. (Possession of a CCNSG Passport is a distinct advantage, but training will be supported for the right candidate)., • Professional Conduct: Ability to manage time effectively, meet strict project deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision., • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities for both teamwork and client interaction., • Mobility: A valid driving license is essential for this field-based role.

As a Bartender/Waiter, your role is central to creating a memorable guest experience through exceptional service, product knowledge, and genuine hospitality. A passion for wine and a desire to share that knowledge with guests is key to success in this role. Responsibilities: Guest Engagement: Greet guests warmly, present wine and food menus, and provide thoughtful recommendations based on preferences and pairings. Wine Knowledge: Offer informed insights on our wine list, including varietals, regions, tasting notes, and suggested pairings. Service Delivery: Take orders accurately and serve wine and small plates with professionalism and care. Presentation & Quality: Ensure wine is presented and served according to service standards, including proper glassware and temperature. Table Maintenance: Maintain clean and well-set tables, attending to guest' needs throughout their visit. Order Coordination: Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow. Transactions: Handle bills and payments with accuracy and efficiency. Cleanliness: Uphold high standards of cleanliness across all guest-facing areas. Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow staff to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience. Progression to Lead Waiter/Waitress: Consistently deliver high-level service and demonstrate deep product knowledge. Show leadership through communication, problem-solving, and initiative. Support junior staff and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture. Weekly Schedule 30-32hrs per week: Tuesday to Friday: 5 pm to 11 pm Saturday: 3 pm to 11 pm Sunday & Monday: off
