Audio Visual Engineer Location: Wokingham with nationwide travel Salary: Competitive, based on experience Job Type: Full-time About the Opportunity Holistx is working on behalf of a valued client, a leading provider of professional audio-visual solutions to businesses, education providers and the public sector. Our client is known for delivering high-quality AV installations and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Audio Visual Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of projects across the UK, installing and supporting cutting-edge AV technology. Key Responsibilities • Install, configure and maintain a range of AV equipment including projectors, interactive displays, video conferencing systems and sound systems, • Carry out site surveys to assess installation requirements and recommend solutions, • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing on-site and remote support, • Work closely with clients to ensure systems are installed and operating to a high standard, • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver projects on time and within scope, • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, • Follow health and safety regulations during all installations and service work Skills and Experience • Proven experience in AV installation, maintenance and support, • Strong knowledge of AV systems such as video conferencing, digital signage, projection and audio distribution, • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively, • Familiarity with brands such as Biamp, Yealink, AMX or Crestron (or similar) is desirable, • Strong communication and customer service skills, • Able to work independently and as part of a team, • Full UK driving licence Desirable Qualifications • CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or equivalent, • Electrical or networking qualifications, • Experience programming control systems (e.g. Crestron, AMX) Benefits • Competitive salary based on experience, • Company vehicle if required, • Training and professional development opportunities, • Pension scheme and additional company benefits If you are an experienced AV Engineer, local to Wokingham and looking for a new challenge and the chance to work with innovative technology, we’d love to hear from you.
