This is an opportunity to step into a senior, high-impact position, working directly with one of the founding directors to build, shape and scale a product portfolio across global markets. The Opportunity You’ll take ownership of sourcing and supplier strategy across key regions in East and/or South Asia, building relationships, securing brands and driving commercial performance. This is a role where you’ll: • Influence what products the business sells, • Shape how the supply chain operates, • Drive margin, growth and long-term strategy You won’t just manage suppliers—you’ll build partnerships, unlock opportunities and lead change. What you’ll be doing Global Sourcing & Supplier Strategy • Build and develop relationships with international suppliers across Asia, • Identify and onboard new manufacturers and partners, • Lead negotiations on pricing, terms and supply agreements Brand Acquisition & Growth • Identify and secure distribution rights for high-potential international brands, • Evaluate market opportunities and bring new brands into the UK & Ireland, • Negotiate supplier-backed marketing investment and growth plans Product Development & Portfolio Ownership • Drive new product development, including private label ranges, • Manage products from concept through to launch and lifecycle, • Keep the range competitive, relevant and commercially strong Commercial & Margin Optimisation • Build efficient, scalable value chains, • Analyse cost structures (freight, duties, currency) to improve margins, • Work closely with operations to ensure supply efficiency ⚙️ Process Improvement & Leadership • Improve buying processes, systems and ways of working, • Introduce best practice across sourcing and category management, • Work closely with internal teams across commercial, marketing, finance and operations What makes this role different • Direct access to leadership – work alongside a founding director, • Real ownership – not just execution, but decision-making, • International scope – build relationships across global markets, • Growth environment – shape how the business evolves, • Commercial impact – your decisions directly affect profitability What we’re looking for • Strong experience in senior buying / procurement roles, • Proven track record of negotiation, supplier management and margin delivery, • Experience working with international suppliers (Asia highly desirable), • Commercial mindset with the ability to spot and act on opportunities, • Experience with product development or private label, • Confident working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders You’ll suit this role if you: • Think like an owner, not just an employee, • Enjoy building relationships across cultures and markets, • Are as comfortable being strategic as you are being hands-on, • Want to make a visible impact in a growing business Package • £70,000 – £80,000 (flexible for the right person), • Performance-based bonus linked to growth and profitability, • Car allowance or company car, • International travel opportunities, • Private medical (in progress) Interested?
