Help shape safeguarding and attendance practice across the UK. Deliver accredited online CPD sessions with KSAF, sharing your expertise to support schools and protect vulnerable children. Flexible, remote, and professionally rewarding. What difference will you make? By volunteering as a CPD Trainer, you’ll play a vital role in expanding KSAF’s reach and impact across schools and safeguarding networks. Your sessions will help professionals better understand how attendance links to child protection, ensuring more children are seen, supported, and kept safe. Your contribution will allow KSAF to deliver more accredited training, reach new audiences, and build a stronger, more connected community of safeguarding practitioners. Every session you deliver helps shape real change — turning awareness into action and improving outcomes for vulnerable children across Kent and beyond. What are we looking for? We’re looking for passionate, confident professionals with experience in education, safeguarding, attendance, or child protection. You might be a DSL, EWO, SENCO, social worker, or education leader who enjoys sharing knowledge and empowering others. Key qualities we value • Strong communication and presentation skills, • Confidence speaking in online training environments, • A collaborative, reflective, and child-centred approach, • Good understanding of safeguarding principles and school practice Previous training or CPD delivery experience is helpful but not essential — enthusiasm, empathy, and a commitment to improving outcomes for children matter most. KSAF will provide guidance, branded materials, and full support to help you deliver engaging, accredited sessions with impact. What will you be doing? As a Volunteer Trainer (CPD Facilitator), you’ll help deliver engaging, accredited online training sessions for education and safeguarding professionals. You’ll co-create or present CPD materials, share real-world insights, and support live discussions during events. You’ll work closely with Joshua Morgan, Founder of the Kent Safeguarding and Attendance Forum (KSAF), and a small remote team dedicated to improving attendance and safeguarding practice across Kent. Key priorities include • Delivering or co-delivering CPD sessions via Microsoft Teams, • Helping develop and refine session content and slides, • Engaging participants and supporting professional dialogue, • Representing KSAF’s values of collaboration, compassion, and child-centred practice This flexible role is fully remote, with opportunities to lead sessions, co-host events, and contribute to new resources that shape national safeguarding practice.
