On AHUs, this will include the replacement of filters and drive belts as appropriate. • Identifying and reporting on potential equipment failures and issues. • Diagnosing the root cause of equipment failures and providing a solution for effective repair, including specifying the components needed. • Use manufacturer's software to assist in diagnosis of system faults, as appropriate. • Removing and replacing defective components, including carrying out any modifications to account for equipment upgrades. • Pressure testing refrigerant circuits with suspected leaks, tracing and repairing the leak, verifying the circuit integrity, evacuating the circuit and recharging the system with the correct quantity of refrigerant, including carrying out any calculations needed. • Programming and checking system control parameters to ensure efficient use. A minimum basic understanding of BMS systems is required. • Documenting assets and works carried out on our field management system (SimPRO) using a mobile device. • Communicating with customers on site at the beginning and end of a site visit, including any relevant updates during the visit. • Attending engineer update meetings and undergoing appropriate training as required. • Be part of the On Call rota to take responsibility for a fair share of the Out of Hours call outs.
