Job Title: Junior- Intermediate Interior Designer Location: Leeds Salary: £28-36,000+ DOE About the company: An award-winning, AJ100 architectural and design practice is seeking a talented Junior- Intermediate Interior Designer to join its growing Leeds studio. With a network of design studios across the UK and a reputation for delivering thoughtful, people-centred design, the practice works across a diverse range of sectors including workplace, residential, hospitality, leisure, and mixed-use developments. The successful candidate will have proven industry experience within a UK interior design practice and will be confident supporting projects through all stages of design and delivery. Benefits • Competitive salary and benefits package, • Hybrid working opportunities, • Bonus scheme, • Life assurance, • Cycle to Work scheme, • Employee Assistance Programme, • Ongoing training, mentoring and career development support, • Regular social and team-building activities, • Opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple sectors, • Inclusive, collaborative and design-led studio culture Key Responsibilities • Assist in the development of interior design concepts and detailed design solutions, • Produce presentation materials, mood boards and client-facing documentation, • Prepare technical drawing packages and specifications, • Support FF&E selection, sourcing, and scheduling, • Work collaboratively with architects, designers, consultants, and clients, • Attend client meetings, site visits and project reviews, • Contribute to project delivery from concept design through to completion, • Ensure designs meet project objectives, budgets, and programme requirements, • Research materials, finishes and emerging design trends, • Support the delivery of high-quality, people-focused design solutions Ideal Candidate • Degree-qualified in Interior Design or a related discipline, • Industry experience within a UK interior design practice is essential- graduates cannot be considered, • Proven industry experience delivering commercial interior design projects is essential, • Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical understanding, and attention to detail, • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite, • Experience producing technical drawing packages, specifications, and FF&E schedules, • Good understanding of UK building regulations, materials, and construction processes, • Excellent visual communication and presentation skills, • Strong organisational and time-management abilities, • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, • Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to develop professionally within a growing practice, • Passion for creating functional, engaging and beautifully crafted interior environments To apply, please contact KAZ on OR alternatively, send your updated CV and Portfolio across to
