Robert Half is partnering with a organistaion in the hospitality sector in search for a French speaking Procurment Manager based in central London. FRENCH SPEAKING PROCURMENT MANAGER -Hospitality sector Role Purpose The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading and managing the procurement of goods and services across European lodging operations (including hotels and serviced residences). The role ensures operational requirements are met in a cost-effective, compliant, and sustainable manner, balancing quality, service, value, and risk. This position plays a key role in delivering strategic sourcing initiatives, driving cost optimisation, strengthening supplier performance, and ensuring continuity of supply across the portfolio. Key Responsibilities Strategic Procurement & Sourcing • Lead and manage all purchasing activities to secure best value, quality, and commercial terms., • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and cost-saving targets., • Deliver measurable savings through strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier consolidation., • Conduct end-to-end tendering processes (RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract award)., • Negotiate pricing agreements, commercial terms, and long-term contracts to maximise value and mitigate risk., • Maintain and optimise the approved supplier list in line with procurement standards and due diligence requirements., • Manage supplier performance through KPIs, service reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives., • Resolve supplier issues effectively to minimise operational disruption., • Oversee purchase order processes, approval workflows, and adherence to internal controls., • Collaborate with operations to forecast demand and support inventory planning., • Monitor lead times, delivery performance, and supply chain risks, escalating issues where necessary., • Develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions., • Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements., • Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and audit documentation., • Support internal and external audit processes., • Analyse purchasing data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement., • Ensure alignment with sustainability, ethical sourcing, and corporate responsibility commitments. Qualifications & Experience • Qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field., • Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement and strategic sourcing., • Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)., • Experience within hospitality, lodging, or multi-site operational environments preferred., • Background in technical services procurement (vendor management, contractors, hard services) advantageous., • Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation and contract management expertise., • Experience in integration projects and change management initiatives., • CIPS qualification (or working towards) desirable., • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion advantageous)., • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
