Our Chief Commercial Office now have the new opportunity to join us as Group Head of Product Governance who will be responsible for product governance of the combined Coventry Building Society Group. The role holder will be responsible for the product change portfolio product governance, planning and regulatory reporting. It will require collaboration with a range of stakeholders up to Board level across both organisations, as well as 3rd party stakeholders and external regulatory bodies. Responsibilities will include chairing the product change committee and collaborating with Heads of to align planning, governance and change initiatives. Regulatory reporting and insight (i.e. Consumer Duty reporting) as well as first line product risk monitoring. The role holder will chair product prioritisation forum – ensuring teams are working On the right things at the right times, that we have solid business cases and understand feasibility, dependencies and trade-offs. It will manage the 5-year roadmap of product change contributing to the long-term strategic plan (3-5 years), OKRs, team goals, and target operating model. Taking a leading role across the organisation to drive integration and transformational change for the Group Business Banking business, this role requires strategic influence, high-level decision-making to shape critical initiatives, and ensure strategic cohesion across the combined Group structure. To be successful in this role it’s essential you have: • Proven leadership experience in a senior-level governance or planning role in financial services, • Demonstrable expertise in first line risk management, and regulatory reporting including Consumer Duty, • Adept at producing high-level outputs and coordinating stakeholder engagement across multiple teams, • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills, capable of translating complex challenges into actionable insights., • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal abilities, with a track record of fostering cross-functional collaboration and influencing, • Experience of operating in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment with multiple high-priority demands, • Adept at managing relationships, securing stakeholder buy-in, and driving alignment across diverse teams Desirable experience will be: • Leadership experience in a product, finance or strategy role, • Evidence of leading through an integration, • Skilled at navigating shifting priorities and evolving market conditions in a dual organisational setting.
